Help and Support

Recliner faults? When your recliner breaks, it can be very frustrating – especially if it’s stuck open in the middle of the room! At Fix My Recliner, our aim is to help you repair your loved lounging seat.

In this section, you will find our commonly asked questions with helpful advice, along with measuring, fitting, and troubleshooting guides. We aim to update these guides as often as possible to make measuring, selecting, and fitting the correct part easy.

We know that attempting to diagnose and resolve broken recliner faults is not an everyday occurrence for most, so our helpful team are always on hand to provide any assistance required, whether that be to help pinpoint a fault, offer advice on the correct part, or provide fitting information should the below guides not answer any questions or queries you may have. Please use the email on the contact us page or via one of our social media pages, and we will endeavour to come back to you as soon as possible.

Modern life moves quickly, and recliner technology is no different; unfortunately, some parts can become obsolete very quickly. Where possible, we always try to keep a stock of the components that we know are regularly used within the UK furniture market, from the high street retailers to the high-end designer outlets. In some cases, it may no longer be possible to obtain the exact part if it has been discontinued by the component manufacturer but in most cases, we can normally suggest a suitable replacement with similar or matching specifications to return your recliner to full working order. We deal directly with the component manufacturers rather than the furniture manufacturer or retailer, and as such, we have access to most components for extended periods, even if the furniture model is no longer available.

Should you be unable to locate the exact part you need on our website, then please do not hesitate to contact us via email or one of our social media pages with as much information as possible, including photographs where possible.
